Joanna Lumley today called on the public to help others by giving unwanted clothes to charity and “shwopping” them for something different.

The Absolutely Fabulous actress was speaking at the opening of the Halloween-themed clothes recycling pop-up the Little Shwop of Horrors at Marks & Spencer's in Marble Arch, to support Oxfam.

The 68-year-old actress said: “Shwopping is a great opportunity to give to Oxfam and cut down on waste. In just two years, Shwopping has raised millions of pounds for Oxfam.”
