Jeremy Kyle addressed claims that his wife cheated on him after a guest brought up the allegations on his ITV show.

Kyle, 50, was talking to a man who had been accused of biting his girlfriend’s face and cheating on her.

Unhappy with Kyle’s questioning, the man hit back: "Your missus is the one that’s been cheating, while you were up in USA.”

He added: “You know it’s true.”

Kyle replied: "Let me explain something to you. Not only are you disrespectful, but I’ll answer that in the right way.

"I have children, and they’re the only thing that matters to me right now."

It was reported in September that the talk show host had split from his wife of 13 years, Carla Germaine.

Confirming the split he told The Sun: “After 13 years of a generally happy marriage my wife and I, Carla, have separated amicably.

“We have sadly grown apart over recent years and been living apart since earlier this -summer.”

The couple have three children together – Henry, Alice and Ava.
