Jennifer Aniston has said that she's worked too hard during her life to be described as a ‘sad, childless human’.

The former Friends star admits that she hates being ‘shamed’ for her relationship status and the choices in her personal life.

In a new interview with Marie Claire, the 47-year-old describes the down side of being constantly in the public eye.

"My marital status has been shamed, my divorce status was shamed, my lack of a mate had been shamed, my nipples have been shamed,” she told the magazine.

Jennifer Aniston wrote a blog

"It's like, why are we only looking at women through this particular lens of picking us apart? Why are we listening to it?"

Aniston, who is married to fellow actor Justin Theroux, added that she'd "worked too hard in this life" to be "whittled down to a sad, childless human.”

The actress, who stars in new film Office Christmas Party, went on to say that she feels like she’s currently at a ‘crossroads’ in her life.

"I'm at this sort of crossroads trying to figure out what inspires me deep in my core. What used to make me tick is not necessarily making me tick anymore," she said.
