James Corden has revealed that the Me Too and Time’s Up campaigns will be given a platform at Sunday’s Grammy Awards ceremony.

The Late Late Show host will wear a white rose in solidarity with the movements as he returns to present the prestigious music ceremony for a second year.

Corden told the Associated Press that “of course” he would sport the flower at the New York event, joining the likes of Dua Lipa and Rita Ora in doing so.

Corden, 39, also told the news agency that he would find the correct balance of fun and more serious issues on Sunday night.

The white rose campaign was launched on Wednesday after a group of music executives came up with the idea to show support for the movement and protest against sexual misconduct.

Just weeks ago, Hollywood stars wore black outfits to the Golden Globes to stand with #MeToo in protest.

Executive producer of the Grammy Awards, Ken Ehrlich, said that he was aware of the white rose and that any decisions on participation were down to the artists themselves.

He said: “"We're aware of it and we're certainly supportive of the movement, but the reality is we're more concerned with allowing artists that we work with to express themselves and have artistic freedom.”

Ehrlich added: "If, in fact, that's part of that, then that's something we support.”
