James Blake has released his third studio album, just a few hours after announcing it on Radio 1.

The award-winning singer surprised fans by revealing that he was set to release The Colour in Anything during an interview with Annie Mac on Thursday evening.

After playing two new exclusive tracks, Blake’s new album became available to stream and download at midnight.

The eagerly-awaited album, which is the follow-up to 2013’s Overgrown, includes collaborations with a number of big-name artists.

Frank Ocean and Bon Ivor both feature on the tracks and have co-writing credits, while Rick Rubin is also named as a co-producer.

The artwork for The Colour in Anything has been designed by Roald Dahl illustrator Sir Quentin Blake.
