Harper Beckham congratulated England’s Lionesses after their triumphant quarter-final Women’s World Cup win on Thursday night.

The youngest Beckham celebrated the Lionesses’ 3-0 victory over Norway outside Stade Océane in La Havre in an adorable video uploaded by dad David.

“Well done Lionesses,” Harper beamed to camera while clutching a football and wearing her England shirt. “We’re so proud of you!”

David then shared a snap of his seven-year-old daughter standing in front of the stadium entrance, writing: “A very happy young lady. @lionesses.”

On Friday morning, the ex-England captain shared a video of Harper playing football after the match having been “inspired” by the performance on the pitch.

“This is what happens when you get inspired by the Lionesses,” he wrote. “Thank you for inspiring Harper and the next generation of Lionesses.”

Before the match, football fan Harper had the chance to hang out with the World Cup squad, including manager Phil Neville, who have dazzled in the competition so far.

“So lucky to get to see the girls before tonight’s big game,” David wrote alongside a group photo. “As a player I know exactly what it means to play in these competitions and to have the support from home which means so much.

“I just want to say how very proud we all are of every single player, they are doing amazingly well and the whole country is behind them.”

The former Manchester United ace said that Harper had been “so excited” to meet the team and was looking forward to the match.

He also uploaded photos of Harper with striker Nikita Parris, which was also shared by Victoria on her own Instagram page.

During the match, David risked criticism from trolls after being pictured kissing Harper on the lips but was defended by fans who hailed the “pure love” between the father and daughter duo.

England’s victory saw goals from Jill Scott, Ellen White and Lucy Bronze to seal a convincing win. They will face either hosts France or tournament favourites USA in Tuesday’s semi-final.
