Bruno Mars gave a show-stopping tribute to Prince at the Grammy Awards 2017.

The R&B singer donned a Purple Rain-inspired suit in remembrance of the late music icon, who died unexpectedly in 2016.

Mars teamed up with Prince associates The Time for a blistering performance of Let’s Go Crazy, where he sang lead vocals and played a huge guitar solo.

The Time also performed their songs Jungle Love and The Bird, which were written by Prince under the pseudonym Jamie Starr.

Leaving the stage at the end of the song, Mars shouted: “Make some noise for Prince, y’all!”

Prince passed away on April 21, 2016 at his Paisley Park recording studio aged 57 from a fentanyl overdose.

The musical legend famously fought with his record label Warner Bros for control of his back catalogue of music – which has just been added to major streaming sites including Spotify.

Prince’s music was previously only accessible on Jay Z’s TIDAL streaming service.
