Geri Halliwell intends to create a fly-on-the-wall series, following her personal and professional life.

However she's likely to turn down an approach from the BBC to compete in the forthcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing, so that she can focus on her reality TV career.

A source said: "Geri put the reality show on hold for a while because she was really busy, but now Viva Forever has launched she is focusing on it again."

Interest in the Spice Girls has grown lately due to the band's upcoming musical, Viva Forever, which opens in the West End in December.

Sky had initially shown interest in Geri's "passion project" but it fell through, leaving her looking for another broadcaster.

The straight-talking star also has plans to release a new album which she has previously said "is ready".

Geri, who has a six-year-old daughter called Bluebell Madonna, was considered for the fourth judging slot on The X Factor before the job was given to Nicole Scherzinger.
