Geordie Shore: Chaos in Cancun hits our screens this month

Newcastle’s most accomplished party animals are back for a third series in which they fly 5,000 miles for sun, sea and Tequila in Mexico's most famous clubbing hotspot, Cancun.

The eight-part series follows the lads and lasses waving goodbye to Newcastle, with their fake tan more generously applied than ever, as they head off for a 'spring break' in their finest sombreros.

Fans can look forward to a number of romantic liaisons in the group's deluxe villa, as well as the standard Jagerbomb-fuelled antics of previous series.

The show prides itself on being the only unscripted 'reality' TV show of its kind, unlike rivals Made In Chelsea and The Only Way Is Essex. It has been winning legions of keen followers thanks to its outrageous antics and outlandish behaviour.

Fellow Geordie Cheryl Cole loves it, tweeting about how 'addictive' it has become. Comedian Jack Whitehall is also a self-confessed fan, saying it makes 'TOWIE look like Downton Abbey'.

MTV have recently announced that they are looking out for new cast members to join the fun-loving Geordie stars. They are sure to be inundated with new recruits as the gang showcase their 'go hard or go home' mantra in the sunshine.

The programme will be on MTV from the 26th June at 10pm.
