Friends reunited! Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox perform sketch on Jimmy Kimmel Live

Jennifer Aniston was reunited with her old co-stars Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox for a Friends sketch on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night.

The three of them performed a sketch together on Jimmy Kimmel Live after the host professed his love for the cult comedy by whipping out a fan fiction script and unveiling a recreation of the iconic Friends kitchen.

Jimmy asked her: "I loved the show so much I actually wrote some fan fiction ... I wrote myself into it as Ross. I was wondering if you would do a scene from it with me?"

After some light persuasion Aniston - who is engaged to screenwriter Justin Theroux - agreed to read through Kimmel's sketch but the 45-year-old actress looked unimpressed when he presented her with a brunette wig similar to Rachel's character's hairstyle.

She refused to wear it, protesting: "I've got boundaries!"

As the scene progressed, co-stars Lisa who played Phoebe Buffay and Courteney who played Monica Geller joined the reluctant actress in reading the script which included the lines to the famous I'll Be There For You theme tune.

The scene has excited fans who are keen for a full cast reunion to mark the 20th anniversary of the show next month, which is being commemorated by the opening of a replica Central Perk coffee shop in New York.
