Marque Lynche: Former Disney star and Mousketeer found dead at 34
Disney child star and Mousketeer Marque Lynche has died at the age of 34.
The former TV star, who later became an American Idol contestant, was found dead at his apartment on Sunday evening.
According to reports, the NYPD responded to an emergency call at Lynche’s home but found the actor unresponsive.
The star’s cause of death is reportedly yet to be determined.
Lynche famously starred alongside Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Ryan Gosling as part of the All New Micky Mouse Club during the early 1990s.
In a statement to E! News, a representative of the club said: “It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to one of our family.
“Our 'Always In The Club' brother, Marque Tate Lynche, passed away this weekend. We are absolutely devastated by this tragic news.
“Our prayers and condolences go out to his brother Michael Lynche, his entire family and all of his friends. RIP sweet soul, you will be greatly missed."
After his childhood success, Lynche went on to compete in the third series of the TV singing show and became a finalist.
He later appeared on Broadway in The Lion King ans Fame on 42nd Street.
