Titled Zoe’s Hardest Road Home, Ball has already travelled from Blackpool to Widnes on Monday and then to Upton Magna on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, the It Takes Two presenter shared a short clip of herself after she fell off her bike downhill but reassured her followers she’s fine, up and carrying on.

And fans were quick to offer support to the star on her challenge, in memory of her late boyfriend Billy Yates, and to add words of encouragement.

Replying to one tweet, one wrote: “Bless you lovely, you are such an inspiration, we are all cheering you on xxx love and hugs xxx.”

While another commented: “@ZoeTheBall I'm welling up watching your journey on @BBCBreakfast this morning. You're doing brilliantly @sportrelief #mentalhealth #keeptalking xxx.”

“Hope you’re ok Zoe and not too battered and bruised xx,” said somebody else.

Stars of Strictly Come Dancing have also thrown their weight behind the spin-off show presenter.

The 47-year-old has also been documenting her 350-mile journey on Instagram, with several update posts.

Fans can sponsor Ball on her trek – which has two days left - and donate on the website.

Sport Relief returns for a week long event from 17-23 March 2018.
