Diana Vickers has been reunited with her dog, Biggie.

The singer, 23 - who shares the pet Chihuahua with her boyfriend, One Night Only frontman George Craig - posted a celebratory tweet to let fans know that Biggie is safe and well back at home after she found him on her doorstep.

She tweeted: “BIGGIES HOME!!!! he was left on our door step. And I heard him barking from my bedroom. A saw a fox dart to our door. And he was there!!!”

She later tweeted a picture of herself cuddling the beloved pet alongside the caption: “#BIGGIESHOME thank you world! Thank you so much to everyone who tweeted and helped put the word out there.”

Last week the former X Factor contestant posted a desperate plea for help to find Biggie after he escaped from her flat near Victoria Park in East London.

Vickers - who offered a reward for his return and feared that he may have been snatched - told the Standard: "Biggie is my first dog. He is like our little baby. If you have him, please give him back because we absolutely love him. He is just a bundle of joy in all our lives. He is a very happy and loving dog."

The search for Biggie attracted huge support from members of the public as well as celebrities including singers Olly Murs and Little Mix and former Made in Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh.
