A couple who made a YouTube video begging Craig David to attend their wedding were shocked when the singer turned up at their reception.

David travelled 1500 miles to attend the party, and surprised the couple with an hour long set then spent time mingling with guests and signing autographs.

Newlyweds Theo Coyne, 28, and Lisa Potter-Dixon, 29, filmed a spoof video asking the celeb to come to their wedding.

In the clip they change the lyrics of Craig's hit 'Seven Days' to create the internet invitation to their big day.

After the video went viral online Craig flew from his California home to join them in Ely, Cambridgeshire.

One wedding guest said to the Daily Star: "Craig was absolutely amazing.

"He was so down-to-earth that we almost forgot he was a celebrity. It really was a dream come true for Theo and Lisa."

Bride Lisa later tweeted: "Craig!! Thank u! U are the man!"

And Craig wrote online on Sunday: "Had the most amazing experience last night surprising Theo & Lisa!

"Seeing them so happy having me attend & hearing me sing was as emotional for me as it was for them!"
