Cheryl has vowed to never date again after revealing plans to move her mum into her Surrey mansion following her split from Liam Payne.

The pop sensation, who has one-year-old son Bear with the former One Direction singer, called time on her romance earlier this year after weeks of speculation.

Cheryl has admitted that she knows who her next housemate would be if she could have a choice – her mum Joan.

Chatting to Jessie Ware on her podcast Table Manners, Cheryl said: “I would like her [my mum] to live with me but she will not. She doesn't love London, she's a proper Geordie.

"I make her travel across the country with me a lot, she still lives in Newcastle. I don't know how she does it.”

The star explained that she calls Joan for help on “everything” that takes her away from home for longer than 9-6 or overnight, adding that Payne’s parents are also “very good” with childcare.

She said she “refused” to get any help with her son until he was at least 16 months old, confessing that it “didn’t feel natural”.

Cheryl also revealed that she has given up on dating following her split from Liam Payne earlier this year.

She said: “'I know what I want in life, but in the romantic area, I am not as evolved.

“That area has stopped. It's not happening anymore. It's the end. It's the end.

“I've got the man in my life now,” referring sweetly to baby Bear.

The singer is set to return to the spotlight this Friday with her first single in four years, Love Made Me Do It.

Cheryl teased her new track with a short Instagram clip earlier this week, returning to her page after deleting everything and unfollowing everyone.
