He might be a Hollywood A-lister, but it seems that Channing Tatum isn’t above begging for parts.

The actor has admitted that he bombarded director Quentin Tarantino with emails in a bid to secure a role in The Hateful Eight.

Speaking to Jimmy Fallon about how he managed to bag the small but pivotal role in the new film, Tatum said that he emailed the filmmaker every day for a month.

When the chat show host asked what he said in the emails, Tatum joked that he was “just threatening any other actors that might be up for the role.”

“I was just praying that no one really tough was up for the role,” he added.

“I’m so happy that he didn’t say, “Well Mike Tyson is up for this role.”

“I’m like “Oh my god. I just ripped Bruce Dern’s arm off. I just almost killed one of the best actors of our time. And I’m mortified,” he said.
