James Corden stole Jennifer Lopez’s phone to message Leonardo DiCaprio as she joined him for a Carpool Karaoke session.

Lopez, 46, jumped into the car with the chat show host and let him loose on her iPhone – much to her dismay.

Corden, 37, asked the singer who the most famous contact on her phone is to which she scrolled through a list of names which included Iggy Azalea, Demi Lovato, Chris Brown, Bradley Cooper, Cristiano Ronaldo, Fergie, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and DiCaprio.

Impressed by her A-list contacts, Corden asked: “Can I please send one person a text in your phone?”

The chat show host picked DiCaprio and sent a text reminding the Oscar winning actor that Lopez is “from the Block”.

He messaged: “Hey baby, I’m kinda feeling like I need to cut loose. Any suggestions let me know. J-Lo (you know, from the Block).”

Clearly regretting her decision to let Corden take control of her phone she joked: “He’s going to be like ‘Who the f*** is this?’ Now I’m going to have to explain this.”

But DiCaprio was none the wiser and replied: “You mean tonight Boo Boo club wise?”

Lopez’s stint on the Late Late Show skit also saw her sing a string of hits including Love Don't Cost A Thing, Booty and On The Floor as well as denying insuring her behind.

The singer also sang an “intense” song in Spanish which caused Corden to shout: “Look what it’s doing to my hips I genuinely can’t control it.”

She then attempted to show him how to dance for a music video, but he couldn’t quite get the moves and instead “nearly made the air bag go off”.
