Caroline Flack and Lewis Burton have hit back at claims their relationship is over, with tennis player Burton sharing a loved up snap of himself and his girlfriend.

On Thursday (January 30) morning, tabloids claimed the pair - who are currently forbidden from contacting each other due to Flack’s bail conditions - had parted ways after six months together.

But Burton, 27, has told his Instagram followers this isn’t the case.

Sharing a picture of himself and Flack on a previous holiday, he wrote on his Instagram story: “We ain’t split [...] Can’t wait to see you.” [sic]

Burton added a heart and praying hands emoji.

On her Story, Flack wrote: “I’m going to speak my mind today. Mine and my families life is no longer up for entertainment or gossip.” [sic]

Flack is currently awaiting trial after being arrested for allegedly assaulting Burton in December.

She is accused of hitting her boyfriend over the head with a lamp while he was sleeping. She has denied the allegation and pleaded not guilty at Highbury Corner magistrate’s court in January.

She was released on bail with conditions forbidding her from contacting Burton ahead of her March trial.

After laying low and staying out of the spotlight, Flack made a brief return to social media on Tuesday (January 28) to wish the Love Island gang good luck ahead of the National Television Awards.
