Bruce Jenner’s ex-wives Linda Thompson and Chrystie Scott have shown themselves to be two of the former Olympian’s biggest supporters following his admission that he identifies as a woman.

Jenner's second wife Linda Thompson uploaded a photo to her Instagram account showing herself and Jenner’s first wife Scott posing alongside the reality TV star.

Thompson, 64, captioned the picture with a link to a lengthy memoir titled 'How Living With and Loving Bruce Jenner Changed My Life Forever', in which she reveals that she had no clue about his gender dysphoria.

She explained how when their son’s Brody and Brandon were 18 months and three years old respectively, Jenner revealed that he told her of his "living hell" and how he wanted to "move forward with the process of becoming a woman".

She continued: "People have asked me, 'Were there any signs or clues through the years that Bruce might have had this issue? Any evidence he wore your clothes?' No. Not a clue. Nothing. Nada. Never."

Jenner's gender transition was believed to be a "quirk" by his third wife Kris Jenner who was "rocked" by the news when the former Olympian revealed his feelings.

A Kardashian insider told People magazine that she "never knew Bruce wanted to be a woman. She thought Bruce had a little quirk and he asked her to keep it a secret, so she did."

Jenner informed the public of his gender dysphoria during a tell-all interview with Diane Sawyer which saw 16.9 million people tune in.
