Sportsman Ben Cohen has announced plans to publish an autobiography as rumours about his relationship with Kristina Rihanoff continue to circulate.

The former Strictly star, who announced his separation from wife Abbey shortly after appearing on the show, will pen a book about both his career and his personal life.

Speaking to The Sun, he said: "It's my personal journey and a different perspective."

The rugby star added: "I didn't want to create just a sporting-book, about how hard I had trained and became the greatest. It's a different view on things - and it is very well written."

Cohen has stayed tight-lipped about the split from his wife of nearly a decade, not publicly addressing speculation that he is now in a relationship with former Strictly partner Kristina Rihanoff.

The professional dancer recently spoke to the Loose Women panel about the rumours, saying that they nearly caused her to quit the show.

She said: "Last year, [I was] almost there. I was in a bad place because my mother was suffering with a breast cancer scare and the press were so horrific at that time that I thought that maybe there was a time where I needed to step out.

“She [my mother] was extremely upset and she was absolutely devastated to read some of those things.”

While the 37-year-old didn’t directly discuss whether or not she was in a relationship with newly-divorced Cohen, she said:

“I just don’t think it always has to be negative publicity, because also they don’t really know the truth and the thing is, it’s really up to me and the person I’m with to live our life and decide what’s right, what’s wrong.”
