Ashton Kutcher has filmed an hilarious video in response to claims that his wife Mila Kunis stole a chicken.

Pop star Kristina Karo claimed Kunis, 31, stole her pet chicken, Doggie, when they were children and living in the Ukraine.

Karo - who has since moved to Los Angeles - is reportedly seeking $5,000 in damages as compensation for the emotional trauma she suffered.

Clearly not fazed by the claims, but keen to tell their side of the story, Kunis and Kutcher posted a video via livestreaming app Meerkat, which Kutcher, 37, is an investor in.

“Let’s just get this clear, you stole a chicken from a one-month-old child who spoke to you?” says the Dude, Where's my Car? actor as he attempts to highlight factual inaccuracies.

He continues: "It’s shocking to me that real journalists out there that have fact checked this story didn’t pick up on the fact that this girl was one month old and having a conversation with you.

"Not only did she have a conversation with you in the Ukraine, she was speaking English. This is the smartest girl I’ve ever heard of!"

Referring to Karo’s Give Me Green Card music video, Kunis quipped: "It had nothing to do with her music video, that’s just accidental.”

The Jupiter Ascending actress - who has daughter Wyatt Isabelle with Kutcher - concluded by saying that she would like to file a counter lawsuit for the same amount as compensation for having to watch Karo's music video.

“I would like to launch a counter $5,000 lawsuit for making me sit there and watch your music video shamelessly," she said. "My body hurts. My eyes hurt, they’re burning. That requires money.”
