Adele’s Carpool Karaoke with James Corden for his Late Late Show has broken records.
The fourteen minute segment has taken the title of the most viral video any late-night TV show has produced since 2013 after amassing 45 million views.
It is the fastest growing video in the category since Jimmy Kimmel Live debuted the trailer for Captain America last November.
The video kicked off with Corden speaking on the phone: "Hello? It's me. I was wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet?"
Adele then shows up and the pair proceeds to sing a string of her biggest hits and the Spice Girls’ Wannabe before she launches into the rap from Nicki Minaj’s Monster.
The track shot to number two in the UK iTunes hip-hop chart following the rap.
Praising her attempt, Minaj posted to Instagram: "Adele is mad ratchet. I can't take her #UK #WutsGood".
The show’s signature skit also helped to propel Stevie Wonder back into the charts.
Following his drive around Los Angeles with the chat show host – which saw him serenade Corden’s wife over the phone – the soul singer's Definitive Collection shot to number one on the UK iTunes album chart.

Justin Bieber's Carpool Karaoke currently holds the record in terms of lifetime views with 52 million.
