Details of Adele’s rumoured £140 million divorce from husband Simon Konecki will be kept secret, according to reports.

The Sun claims that the singer’s request to keep details of the split out of the public eye was granted by a court in Los Angeles, California.

The paper reports that Adele, 31, and Konecki, 45, have agreed to share custody of their seven-year-old son Angelo, but any details regarding “financial, sales or other confidential business information” will not be made public.

A source told the publication that the former couple are “both committed to keeping the details as private as possible for the sake of their son” and are “trying to work out their issues.”

Standard Online has contacted the singer’s representatives for further comment.

The Someone Like You singer confirmed her split from Konecki in April 2019, when her representatives released a statement announcing that the pair are “committed to raising their son together lovingly,” adding: “As always they ask for privacy.”

Court documents lodged in Los Angeles in September confirmed that the couple have since filed for divorce.

Adele and Konecki, a charity entrepreneur, were first linked in 2011 and welcomed son Angelo the following year.

They married in secret in 2016 after five years together, with the singer finally addressing speculation during an acceptance speech at the 2017 Grammys.

Dedicating her win to her family, she said: “My husband, my son, you’re the only reason I do it.”

Adele is rumoured to be working on a follow-up album to 2015 hit 25, with previous collaborator Ryan Tedder recently claiming that she sounds “better than ever.”
