Adele has shared photographs of her celebrating her summer holiday months after splitting from her husband Simon Konecki.

The pop megastar, 31, is seen laughing and smiling in the series of snaps at a variety of locations including a boat and what appears to be a canyon.

She also went camping with a group of friends and at one point posed triumphantly on a large rock in a picturesque forest.

Adele captioned the post, published on Instagram, as “Summer 2019.”

Celebrities flocked to praise Adele for the photographs, including supermodel Naomi Campbell and The Good Wife actress Rita Wilson.

Campbell, 49, wrote a series of heart emojis, while Wilson, 62, added: “Love seeing you so happy!”

RuPaul’s Drag Race star Nina West, 42, posted several eye heart emojis and Glee actress Amber Riley, 32, said: “Looking good girl!

The images come four months after the singer announced she was separating from charity entrepreneur Konecki, 45, after seven years together.

The pair share a son, Angelo, who was born in 2012, and got married in 2016 after five years of dating.

In a statement, her representatives Benny Tarantini and Carl Fysh said: "Adele and her partner have separated.

"They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment."

When the split was announced, it sparked speculation among fans that she could be releasing a new album soon.

She later broke her silence by sharing a meme that featured two photos of herself side by side.

One shot showed Adele crying, while the other captured her belting out a song during her appearance on James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke, pointing a finger as she gets caught up in the music.

The meme featured the words: “When you catch yourself in your feelings then you remember who you are.”

Tottenham-born Adele released her debut album, 19, in 2008, which contained the songs Chasing Pavements and Hometown Glory and reached number one in the UK.

Her eagerly anticipated follow-up, 2011's 21, brought even more success thanks to the singles Someone Like You, Rolling In The Deep and Rumour Has It.

The record topped the charts in 30 countries, including the US and UK, and cemented Adele's status as one of the world's best-loved artists.

She took a break from performing following 21, and her Oscar win for the theme from James Bond film Skyfall in 2012.

Adele released her most recent album, 25, in 2015, which contained the single Hello. It proved to be another critical and commercial success.
