Kerry Katona has signed a deal to publish a new autobiography which she promises doesn't "pull any punches".

The reality TV star is releasing her second book - which comes six years after her first personal tome 'Too Much Too Young' sold more than 250,000 copies - after agreeing terms with the Orion Publishing Group.

Kerry has overcome drug addiction, a divorce from Mark Croft, bankruptcy, embezzlement, alcohol problems and bi-polar in the last few years and she hopes the tell-all book will inspire any of her fans who are suffering from similar problems.

The 31-year-old blonde - who had her life documented in the television shows 'Kerry Katona: Crazy in Love' for MTV and 'Kerry Katona: The Next Chapter' for ITV2 - said: "Writing this book is proving to be really tough as it covers the period when I was at my lowest ebb.

"It's incredibly therapeutic though and I hope it will in some small way help inspire others who might be going through difficult times to keep fighting no matter what.

"But I'm making sure it's not all tears - there are plenty of laughs too as, whatever the situation, I always make sure I find time to have some fun."

Amanda Harris, Publishing Director of Orion Non-Fiction, added: "So much has happened to Kerry in the last six years. She's been pushed to the brink of total mental collapse but has rebuilt her life, piece by piece.

"Her incredible story is told with the humour, warmth and honesty we know and love Kerry for.

"She doesn't pull any punches; this is Kerry, back to her fabulous best."

'Kerry Katona: The Autobiography' is out on October 25 in hardback and as an e-book.

Former 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' winner Kerry - who has four children, Mollie, 10, Lilly-Sue, nine, her kids with first husband Brian McFadden, and Heidi, five, Max, four, who she had with Mark - is also currently shooting a new reality TV show with David Gest, which will see her be taught how to be a true lady.
