Abi Titmuss has revealed that she felt her unborn child kicking as she walked down the aisle on her wedding day.

Titmuss, 41, tied the knot with Ari Welkom at an intimate ceremony in Malibu while five months pregnant with their first child.

Speaking about their special day she told Hello!: “I was aware throughout our wedding day that there were three, not two, of us experiencing it together.

“The baby is able to hear now and it was lovely to think that he or she could have been listening to us making our vows.

“When the harpist started to play, I could feel him or her moving around.”

Titmuss said she had “butterflies” on her big day because she “couldn’t wait to be next to Welkom”, who described his new wife as an “angel”.

“When I turned to look at her, I thought I was looking at an angel,” he said. “She was more beautiful than I’d ever imagined she would be and, when she stopped in front of me, it was the happiest moment of my life.”

The couple – who met on the set of US soap Days Of Our Lives – paid tribute to their families who came together for their wedding day.

Welkom said: “To share our wedding day with all the people we love the most was amazing.

“The bonding that took place between our families was special, too. And now that Abi and I are married, we really do feel different.

“Our lives are all about building a future and starting a family together with our baby.”

Welkom and Titmuss announced their engagement in March before breaking the news in April that they are expecting their first child together.
