Call the fashion police: Sting joins band of ageing rockers with his old man grey beard
Sting frontman Sting looked older than ever thanks to his grizzly beard as he performed at the Isle Of Wight Festival last night.
The rocker, real name Gordon Sumner, played his guitar solos on a battered old instrument, which looked nearly as old as Sting's 56 years.
It's been over 30 years since The Police first graced the stage, and the trio were surely showing their age as they made a rare performance at the annual island event.

With a combined age of 176, the trio rocked the crowd with a selection of their biggest hits, including Message In A Bottle, Walking On The Moon, and Every Breath You Take.
The reunited rockers performed to thousands of fans as the closing act at the annual festival.
Sting admitted he hadn't been to the Isle Of Wight since he was an 18-year-old hopeful seeking musical fame.
He joked to the crowd: 'When I came in 1969 - I was five years old - to see Bob Dylan I got a lift with a mate from Newcastle.'

Sting and his Police bandmates Andy Summers, 64, and Stewart Copeland, 55, made £66.5million through their 54 gigs in the U.S. and Canada last year - making the band's tour the highest earning tour in North America in 2007.
At their performance at the Isle Of Wight, the group look noticeably exhausted after their year of touring.
Compared to their remarkably looking youthful appearance a year ago, it appeared the toil of living on the road was getting to the rock stalwarts.
