She has always favoured a sleek, discreet style. But last night a little more of Gwyneth Paltrow caught the eye as she arrived at a movie premiere in London.


In a daringly-cut Vivienne Westwood gown, the actress who turns 32 today was greeted by fans singing Happy Birthday.

Miss Paltrow was accompanied by Jude Law, her co-star in Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, at the Leicester Square premiere.

She was delighted at the crowd's greeting.

'I didn't expect that at all, it was a really lovely touch. It's been a great day today and the reaction outside has just crowned that for me,' she said.

Law, who like Miss Paltrow moves between both the U.S. and London, said they also shared a ' filthy sense of humour'.

His ex-wife, Sadie Frost, an executive producer on the movie, was among the guests at the premiere. His new girlfriend, actress Sienna Miller, did not go.
