Beck's babes

Now in its fifth year, this art prize has established itself as the Turner's kid sibling, and with a purse totalling £65,000, it also happens to be the nation's most generous.

This year's shortlist of 10 includes two artists from the Netherlands, two from Turkey and another brought up in former communist Bulgaria.

The winner is announced on Tue 27 Apr, but in the meantime you can decide for yourself who is the most deserving: will it be the life-sized animals sculpted from carpet fluff, the recording of Cilla Black impersonators crooning 'Anyone Who Had A Heart' or the performance installation of uniformed security personnel?
