Art world gears up for F1

A unique portfolio of portraits of the world's greatest Formula One drivers is due to be exhibited at The Boiler House in London from July 18th to 29th to coincide with the British Grand Prix.

The stunning limited edition works of art ?- some of which measure 6' x 4' - combine aspects of traditional photographic portraiture with cutting edge computer design technologies to express not only the gladiatorial charisma of the drivers but also the speed, heat and power of Formula One. The National Portrait Gallery has expressed interest in acquiring the images of the British drivers David Coulthard, Eddie Irvine and Jenson Button.

Already established in the fields of music and fashion photography, Rip resolved to make a name for himself portraying the larger than life characters in Formula One.

Enjoying exclusive and unparalleled access to all the notoriously camera-shy drivers, Rip - in conjunction with his design team - have created an unprecedented body of work which will be displayed in the forthcoming exhibition for the first time anywhere.

The exhibition, sponsored by F1 Racing Magazine, A1M Studios, A1 Despatch and AGFA, will be hosted by Eminent Management and Production.
