Music stars including Adam Ant and Edwyn Collins will play a free open-air gig in Soho next week in support of independent record stores.

Hundreds are expected to attend the event next Saturday, which will see a stage erected on the junction between Berwick Street and D’Arblay Street.

The free gig will celebrate Record Store Day, which sees more than 240 independent stores across the UK offering exclusive new vinyl releases.

Other performers at the event will include Ruts DC and Tim Arnold.
