Marc Almond says he has no memory of the City motorbike crash which almost killed him.

The Soft Cell singer, 48, wrote on his website diary: "Without going into the gorier aspects of the accident, I have pieced it together from friends and witnesses, though much of it remains a blank to me."

Almond left intensive care 11 days after the crash on 17 October and moved from the Royal London Hospital to a private hospital.

Thanking all who cared for him, he said: "It was a truly life-changing experience."
