When London Collections Men kicks off this Friday the eyes of the world will fall on the capital's blossoming menswear industry - a bubble that's teaming with dressing options for Britain's increasingly style adventurous gents.

From hot new labels such as James Long and Matthew Miller to established heritage brands such as Paul Smith, John Smedley and Belstaff, the possibilities are endless.

But what to buy right now? Along with a great pair of navy slacks, the essential pair of crisp white trainers and a seriously smart bomber jacket, stylist Lara Myall selects the trophy buys for boys this season.

On her must-have list? Some serious show stopping prints, heavy-duty tractor sandals and the debut menswear collection from Henry Holland’s adored House of Holland label.
