GB eventer Collett suffers bad fall

British eventer Laura Collett is seriously ill in hospital after suffering a fall during the British Eventing Horse Trials.

The 23-year-old, who has been training two-time Cheltenham Gold Cup champion Kauto Star in dressage, suffered the accident at Tweseldown Racecourse in Hampshire.

A short statement on lauracollett.com said: "Following Laura's bad fall today Laura is now in ITU in hospital.

"She has been stabilised and we will know more over the next 24 hours....Thank you for your messages and we will keep you updated."
