A woman has died after falling 40ft from a zip line on a Go Ape course in America.
Tina Werner, 59, fell from a platform along the course in Lums Pond State Park, Delaware, at about 1.40pm yesterday.
Her daughter Melissa Slater said her mother had wanted to tick zip lining off her "bucket list".
Visitors to the Go Ape experience complete a two to three hour course through a forest canopy, which involves suspended obstacles, "Tarzan swings", and zip lines.
It is not yet clear how Ms Werner fell from the platform, with local media reporting that the accident is still under investigation by park officials and state police.
Paramedics treated Ms Werner after she fell, and performed CPR at the scene before rushing her to hospital, but she later died from her injuries.
Paying tribute to her mother on Facebook, Ms Slater said: "My mom died completing her bucket list, zip lining in Newark...
"This is truly the hardest situation that I have ever faced. I ask for you prayers for my family."
Chris Swallow, director of Go Ape, said: "The Go Ape team is deeply saddened by this tragic occurrence.
"Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends and in particular to those who were on the course with her at the time.
"We will of course be cooperating with the authorities with regard to this incident.
"It would be inappropriate to comment or speculate on the circumstances of this incident until all of the investigations are completed."
The course was closed following the incident, with no information available as to when it would reopen.
