Isis threatens Facebook and Twitter founders Mark Zuckerberg and Jack Dorsey for blocking accounts

Threat: A still from the latest Islamic State video

Islamic State has issued a threat against Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and Twitter chief Jack Dorsey.

The extremists have reportedly released a new video which features images of the two internet billionaires riddled with bullet holes.

The 25-minute video, titled Flames Of The Supporters, rounds on the entrepreneurs and their social media sites for attempting to block terrorist content.

It proclaims: “If you close one account we will take 10 in return and soon your names will be erased after we delete you [sic] sites, Allah willing, and will know that we say is true.”

Islamic State claims in the film to control more than 10,000 Facebook accounts and 5,000 Twitter profiles.

It was published on Telegram, a social media site popular with terrorists.

It comes after increasing efforts from the social media sites to crack down on extremists, with Twitter saying it has closed at least 125,000 accounts tied to Islamic State.

IS has previously hit out at Mr Dorsey, last year circulating a message which said: “Your virtual war on us will cause a real war on you."

Twitter and Facebook said they did not want to comment on the video.
