Spectators are swept off their feet while watching the huge tides of Qiantang river in Haining, China, as Typhoon Trami hit the mainland. It has brought more gales and rain to a region saturated by a typhoon last week.

Flooding around China has left about 250 people dead or missing, including 21 killed by a flash flood on Tuesday at a construction site in remote Qinghai province.
