The teenage sons of Britney Spears were pictured in a rare photograph shared on Instagram.

It comes as the singer celebrated the removal of her dad Jamie Spears from his position as her conservator.

Rarely-seen Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James Federline, 15, posed in a picture posted by a friend of their dad Kevin Federline, 43, on Tuesday.

They enjoyed spending quality time with their famous dad.

In the rare snap, the pop star’s sons looked all grown up as they smiled from ear-to-ear.

Eddie Morales shared the photograph with heaps of praise for Mr Federline’s parenting.

He wrote: “During times of grief knowing u have #family really feels worth living .. talk bout seeing my nephews when they were pods smaller then my hands now look at #life how beautiful gods work is…”

He added: “NOW THE WORLD WILL SEE HOW MUCH OF A GREAT #DAD HE HAS BEEN!”

Last month, the pop star mum paid tribute on Instagram to both her sons on their birthdays which fall two days apart.

Ms Spears and Mr Federline were married in 2004 but their relationship crumbled in 2007.

Soon after the heartache of their split, Mrs Spears faced a difficult time in her personal life.

The Circus hitmaker was placed under a conservatorship after her public breakdown in 2008.

Recently, she has been locked in a legal battle with her dad over the conservatorship where he has control of her finances and her career.

In the latest development, Mr Spears was suspended from the conservatorship in a court ruling.

His lawyer Vivian L. Thoreen, of Holland & Knight LLP, also said Mr Spears “loves his daughter unconditionally” and has always acted in her “best interests”.

The statement read: “Mr. Spears loves his daughter Britney unconditionally. For thirteen years, he has tried to do what is in her best interests, whether as a conservator or her father. This started with agreeing to serve as her conservator when she voluntarily entered into the conservatorship. This included helping her revive her career and re-establish a relationship with her children.

“For anyone who has tried to help a family member dealing with mental health issues, they can appreciate the tremendous amount of daily worry and work this required. For Mr. Spears, this also meant biting his tongue and not responding to all the false, speculative, and unsubstantiated attacks on him by certain members of the public, media, or more recently, Britney’s own attorney.

“These facts make the outcome of yesterday’s hearing all the more disappointing, and frankly, a loss for Britney.”
