Thai death: the Foreign Office said a British national has died

A British man in his 20s had died in Thailand, the Foreign Office has said.

He is understood to be named Jason Flannery and died on Saturday.

It is believed he collided with a glass door or window, according to reports.

A Foreign Office spokesman said: "We can confirm the death of a British national in Pattaya, Thailand, on August 23.

"We are providing consular assistance to the family at this sad time."
