A woman who went missing while hiking on Maui, Hawaii, has been found alive.
Amanda Eller, 35, was last seen on May 8 prompting a major search effort by family and friends.
She was found on Friday when she waved down a rescue helicopter.
Family members said that Ms Eller appeared in "surprisingly good shape" despite how long she had been missing.
Local reports said she did not suffer serious injuries but had severe sun exposure.
She had become trapped in a deep ravine between two waterfalls, according to the Findamanda page on Facebook.
Her father John Eller told Maui 24/7: "I think she took a good fall. They found her in a deep ravine, basically unable to get out, as I understand it.
"The rescuers had to be airlifted out as well, because it was so tumultuous."
In a video shared on the Facebook page Mr Eller said he was "bawling like a baby" when he found out his daughter was safe.
“Elated. Excited. Ecstatic,” said her mother Julia, Hawaii News Now reported. “I can’t even put it into words. I’m so incredible grateful.”
Ms Eller's car and mobile phone were found in the Makawao Forest Reserve car park on May 9. Her boyfriend reported her missing the same day.
An update revealing she had been found has been shared thousands of times as people celebrated her return.
A member of the aerial search party, Javier Cantellops, shared images and video of the incredible rescue on social media.
In one post on his Facebook page he described finding her as the "greatest day of my life".
