A three-year-old boy has died after an incident involving a tractor.
A local man was arrested after the child's death on Islip playing fields in Islip, near Kettering, Northamptonshire.
A police spokesman said the boy was riding on the tractor, which he described as a "working" vehicle, just before the incident at about 3.30pm on Saturday.
He said it was unclear what happened next.
"The boy sustained fatal injuries," he added.
"Following the incident a local man has been arrested and has now been bailed pending further inquiries.
"Police are leading the investigation with support from the Health and Safety Executive."
