The coronavirus death toll in the UK has risen by 89, according to official figures.
Public Health England reported the fatalities for Tuesday, which take the UK's total coronavirus deaths to 46,299.
Tuesday's death toll is down by a quarter from the 119 deaths announced a week previously, on July 28.
Meanwhile a further 670 people were confirmed to have the virus in the 24-hour period to 9am on Thursday.
These overall figures account for deaths in all settings, while the fatalities reported earlier by devolved health authorities are only in hospitals.
NHS England reported six new deaths on Tuesday, bringing the total number of fatalities in hospitals in England to 29,358.
Public Health Wales meanwhile reported one new Covid-19 death, taking the total number of deaths in the country to 1,566.
Northern Ireland reported no new deaths for the 22nd consecutive day, leaving the death toll in the region at 556, while Scotland had no new deaths for the 19th straight day, meaning its own death toll still stands at 2,491.
Separately on Tuesday data published by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) revealed weekly coronavirus deaths have fallen by more than quarter within seven days.
There were 217 deaths registered in the week ending July 24 involving Covid-19 - accounting for 2.4 per cent of all deaths.
This is a 26.4 per cent fall from the previous week, when there were 295 deaths where coronavirus was mentioned on the death certificate.
The last time deaths involving coronavirus were so low was in the week ending March 20, before nationwide lockdown measures were introduced, when there were 103 deaths.
