A producer behind Sir David Attenborough's famous wildlife documentaries has been filmed telling a family “I want you to die” in a shocking road rage rant.
Fergus Beeley was captured getting out of his car on the M27 in Hampshire before launching into a foul-mouthed rant at the shocked family on Saturday morning.
In the footage, the producer can be seen repeatedly telling the family they had “assaulted” him and he was placing them under “citizen’s arrest”.
At one point he can be seen telling a passenger “I do want you dead” before trying to force open his car door and furiously pointing at the family.
He can also be heard calling the family 'w******' and 's****' and yelling “get ready to die”.
The shocked passenger at one point chastises Mr Beeley for shouting at an 11-year-old passenger.
The extraordinary tirade was filmed by Simon Gale, 33, who was driving the other car involved in the incident.
He claimed Mr Beeley flew into a rage when the family were driving on the motorway when a car from the inside lane attempted to pull into the middle lane – crashing with their car.
Award-winning film maker Mr Beeley helped produce some of Sir David Attenborough's most famous BBC documentaries, including the critically acclaimed Planet Earth.
Police were called to the road rage incident, but said the two men involved decided not to pursue a complaint.
