These stunning photos show some of the truly bizarre places to stay for adventurous-minded travellers on Airbnb.

The website, which allows people to rent out their spaces around the world, doesn’t just include regular flats and houses.

There are treehouses in Cornwall, old train carriages converted into homes and even a former pub with a tiny cinema attached.

In London, you can book a yurt just two minutes away from the Tube, described as the “ultimate city-camping experience in the world”.

If that doesn’t appeal, you can find some inner peace inside an old church, sleep in a Victorian shop or take to the river on a boat called Jessie.

For those who are harder to impress, there’s a castle on offer in Yorkshire.

Game of Thrones fans can stay in an award-winning home with a dragon on the roof.

And if you have a head for heights, a London water tower with a glass tank at the top offers some interesting views of the city.
