Teenager stabbed to death in fracas

An 18-year-old man has been stabbed to death in a fight outside a bar.

The teenager died in an attack outside the Metro Bar, Station Road, Sidcup, Kent.

He was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich, south east London, where he was pronounced dead.

Four other men were also hurt in the fight.

A 21-year-old is being treated for a stab wound to the neck and a 16-year-old for a stab wound to the chest. Another man in his 20s suffered injuries to his hand.

They are being treated at separate hospitals in London.

A 21-year-old man who suffered facial injuries was arrested on suspicion of murder after being discharged from hospital.

He is currently in custody.

Station Road has been closed while police teams work at the scene.

Police are waiting for the victim to be formally identified. A post mortem examination is due to be carried out.
