British boxer Scott Westgarth has died after being taken ill following a fight on Saturday night.
The 31-year-old light-heavyweight fighter won his fight in Doncaster but was rushed to hospital afterwards.
He appeared to be in pain during interviews after the fight with Dec Spelman, and has since died in hospital.
Promoter Stefy Bull, who organised Saturday's event, announced the news on Twitter.
"God bless Scott Westgarth," she said. "To promote a boxing show and a young man doing a job he loves losing his life I have no words. RIP lad thoughts go out to your family and your team.
"It's been the hardest few days I've had to endure; no idea what to do moving forward."
Spelman also paid tribute to Westgarth, tweeting: "Absolutely heartbroken and lost for words ail continue to pray for Scott's family and the people close to him rest easy my friend 🙏 xxx".
Eddie Hearn, one of boxing's best-known promoters, said: "Our thoughts and condolences with the family of Scott Westgarth, may he rest in peace."
The rest of Saturday's event, headlined by Curtis Woodhouse, was cancelled.
