Rod Stewart, Michael Caine and the Collins sisters have knees up for Johnny Gold's 80th

Last night restaurateur Richard Caring and clothing magnate Sir Philip Green co-hosted the 80th birthday party for Johnny Gold, founder of Tramp nightclub.

The party, held at Caring’s 34 restaurant, was also a scene of reconciliation for South African businessman Sol Kerzner, who found himself in the same room as his estranged wife Heather. Even though a high-stakes divorce is imminent, the two embraced and hung out together during the evening.

Also there was Sir Michael Caine and his wife Shakira, sisters Jackie and Joan Collins, Bill Wyman and Rod Stewart with his wife Penny.

Rod himself seemed to be in a great mood — at 67, he was one of the youngest there.
