Piers Morgan is set to reveal “the real truth” behind his dramatic Good Morning Britain exit.

The TV presenter stormed off set on March 9 after being challenged by co-host Alex Beresford over his views on Meghan Markle.

He announced his departure from the show soon after and is expected to discuss his dramatic resignation in an in-depth article to be published by the Mail on Sunday.

Taking to Twitter to share an image of tomorrow’s front page, he wrote: “COMING TOMORROW… Everyone has had their say, now I’ll have mine - only in the Mail on Sunday.”

Many shared their thoughts on Mr Morgan’s tweet, with some calling out the TV host.

“Breaking his silence on Meghan"? Mate you’ve been anything but silent on Meghan,” one wrote.

Another tweeted: “Piers Morgan is the perfect illustration of how utterly dangerous men who cannot handle rejection from women are.”

A third said: “I actually laughed out loud at the ‘breaking his silence on Meghan’ bit Are you for real?? If the months of criticism, attacks and daily ranting about Meghan was silence I dread to think what you’re like with someone you really dislike.”

However, some did share their support for Mr Morgan and anticipated reading tomorrow’s article.

“Can’t wait to read it  @piersmorgan!” said one user. “At least you actually tell the truth. Your haters will jump on this but there’s plenty more who don’t hate.”

The 55-year-old faced criticism after he dismissed the Duchess of Sussex’s claims she suffered suicidal thoughts while working as a senior royal.

The duchess also told Oprah Winfrey a member of the royal family had made comments about her son’s skin colour.

Mr Morgan said on-air that he “didn’t believe a word” of her interview.

“I’m sorry, I don’t believe a word she says,” he said.

“I wouldn’t believe her if she read me a weather report.”

The Duchess of Sussex also complained about Mr Morgan’s comments due to fears it would stop other suicidal people from speaking out.
