The woman who took the iconic photo of the royals at Sandringham on Christmas Day has been hired by the BBC to photograph the crowds at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding.

Single mum Karen Anvil will be snapping the Royal wedding crowds from 5.30 am on Saturday.

As well as taking photos of excited well-wishers, Ms Anvil will also be conducting interviews for BBC Radio 5 live.

Ms Anvil took the now famous snap of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle last December in Norfolk as they left the church.

After sharing the perfectly timed image on social media, Ms Anvil was approached by more than 50 publications requesting to use the photo.

Speaking to I News she said the photo had “changed her life.”

“I don’t have to work two jobs anymore and I have no debt,” she said.

She also said the money she made from selling the photo to publications had helped her put her daughter Rachel through university and allowed her to “fix everything” in her house.
