The £20million Lotto Jubilee Jackpot prize has been won by a single ticketholder, Camelot UK has confirmed.

The special celebratory ‘Must Be Won’ lotto draw was held on Saturday June 4, in the middle of the four-day weekend marking 70 years of service by Her Majesty the Queen.

In May, EuroMillions winners Joe and Jess Thwaite went public after snatching a record £184m.

But the identity of the Jubilee weekend winner will remain a mystery unless they choose to go public.

“There will be no information on whether they are an individual or syndicate winner, or where the ticket was purchased, unless the ticket-holder decides to go public,” Camelot UK said.

Spokesperson Andy Carter said: “We’re delighted that this £20m Jubilee weekend Lotto jackpot has been claimed.

“Our focus is now on supporting the ticket-holder through the process and helping them start to enjoy their truly life-changing win.”

The win comes after five huge jackpot prizes were won in April and May, totalling around £35m.

In all, 30 millionaires were made on Lotto across the two months including 24 ticket-holders who banked $1 million by matching five numbers plus the bonus ball.

On Saturday an estimated £4.1m is up for grabs, Mr Carter said.
